Yes. It is important that you register with us so that we can ensure you all receive the most up to date information pertaining to our organization.

What can I do to help our local community and the Right Hand Angels?

There are many ways you can support your local community. By joining our family you are volunteering and advocating for our families with special needs. Becoming an Angel, Caregiver, Friend or ArchAngel helps us to spread the importance of inclusion throughout our community and build the support that our families need. You may also find that you can support Right Hand Angels by offering in-kind or monetary donations.

What is an Archangel?

An ArchAngel, is the local representative that helps to support your needs. They help provide resources, educational tips, plan events, conduct fundraisers, and help families connect to one another.

I am now a family member and registered on your website, what’s next?

A representative will connect with you shortly after you register. Once you have been completely entered into the system, your local ArchAngel will be assigned to you and will send you a Welcome Aboard Letter via email and will attempt to either call or text you. From there the CEO of the organization will be notified of your full enrollment and will connect with you directly, welcoming you to the family.

I am interested in bringing Right Hand Angels to our local community, how do I go about doing this?

WOW! This is a great question! Right Hand Angels is always looking for volunteers that truly want to bring a sense of Readiness, Education, Advocacy, Diversity and Inclusion to their local community. We like to call this #READI. If you are someone that is interested in bringing all of these amazing values to your community and truly feel that kindness, love and dedication really do matter in the world, then contact us at info@righthandangels.org and let us know.

How do I become a friend for the Angel Athlete? What does this intel?

Become a member by clicking on “Join Our Mission” on the front page of our website. Once you have been paired there will be events that you all can participate in together. These events will usually be local to your location, but may also be within a destination that will have you WANTING to travel to another location.

There are four different roles as a participant of Right Hand Angels. You could be an Angel, a Caregiver, a Friendship Leader or even an ArchAngel.

What qualifies someone as an Angel?

An Angel is someone who may need a little extra support in some of the day to day activities that are involved in. We like to call these members “the heart” of our organization.

A Caregiver is someone who cares for or assists an Angel.

A Friendship Leader is someone who holds the role of an Angel’s friend. This is the person the Angel will eventually build a bond with.

An ArchAngel is a volunteer who helps bring Right Hand Angels to their local community.

Can an Angel have more than one Friendship Leader assigned?

ABSOLUTELY! The more the merrier. As a matter of fact, we encourage this!

How are the beneficiaries of Right Hand Angels chosen?

Our beneficiaries are selected by our Board Members. Our Board Members meet to discuss if the request is beneficial for not only our Angel, but also for our Angel’s family and helps them to ensure they continue to live a healthy lifestyle.

Any requests for support can be sent to the board at info@righthandangels.org

Does Right Hand Angels have a list of events? Where can I obtain these?

Yes we do! You can find the lists of events in your local areas by becoming a member of Right Hand Angels. Your local ArchAngel sends out a monthly email newsletter with all the events!

I am in need of help to understand what my local resources are, where do I go from here?

Reach out to us at info@righthandangels.org, and we will get you connected!

Do you all have adaptive equipment that supports those who are legally blind?

YES! Right Hand Angels does their best to support all disabilities. If we do not have the piece of adaptive equipment that you might need, we will do our best to change that. As of now, we are working diligently with our blind community in finding ways we can continue to support their needs.

How can our younger members be involved? Are their programs available for them to learn about diversity and inclusion?

WHAT A GREAT QUESTION! Our younger members are always welcome to participate. Depending on the age, we have programs that are available to help them not only learn the importance of diversity and inclusion, we also have programs that help them to advocate and teach others within their schools. We offer community service hours to our school aged children and can also assist them in providing resources to their local schools that can support some of the needs of the special needs children and classrooms.

Do you have local support groups in my local community?

We most definitely do! Our ArchAngels strive to provide a support group whether that be in person or online that can bring a wealth of knowledge, resources and events information.

I am a military service member, or member of our community looking to obtain volunteer service hours. How can Right Hand Angels support this?

Right Hand Angels appreciate your time and service to our country. As a matter of fact, the Chief Executive Office, ChairWoman AND Chief of Finances all served in the military.

As a military member who elects to support our nonprofit we offer a Letter of Appreciation to each of our members that participate in our events. For each event that a member participates in, that member receives both a Letter of Appreciation and a Letter of Volunteer Service Hours. Both of which can be run by the administration office to help them receive promotions and hours towards their volunteer service medal.

Where can I get the merchandise provided by Right Hand Angels?

Merchandise can either be purchased from our website or can be purchased from your local ArchAngel

Where can I go if I have more questions or do not see my question here?
