Right Hand Angels

Our Mission

On May 3, 2007, while traveling a rural road in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Andrew, his older sister, brother, and father were involved in a single-car accident that left Andrew more than 90% disabled.

Shortly after being released from the hospital, the family turned to their community only to find that resources for traumatic brain injuries were not readily available. In response, Robin Totsch, a retired United States Marine, decided to establish a program that would not only support those with brain injuries but all individuals living with disabilities. Providing them with resources, education, advocacy, diversity, and inclusion through the events within their local community.
Fifteen years later, Right Hand Angels in July 2022 became an official 501 3(C) nonprofit organization supporting families nationally across the United States. With the ability to work together with families on a one-on-one basis, Right Hand Angels has been able to inspire our families to bring hope, diversity, and inclusion to their disabled local community. What began with Andrew’s strength has become a movement of compassion. His legacy lives on in every life we touch.
