At Right Hand Angels, we use the term Angel with intention. It honors the beauty, resilience, and light our community members bring into the world.
Our Angels Are:

Andrew
Andrew’s story begins even before he entered this world. Conceived with an IUD and not expected to survive pregnancy, Andrew has been fighting for his life since the very beginning. Born full term with the IUD still present, he was later diagnosed with a life-threatening, degenerative condition affecting the corpus callosum—the vital connection between the two hemispheres of the brain.

Amy is kind and caring. Loves to dance, create art and helping people. Being a part of Right Hand Angels means to her that she knows she feels like she belongs here, with a safe place for her to be herself.

Meet Diego, living with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He is nonverbal and uses a wheelchair—but his joy speaks louder than words. He loves the color green 💚, music, water, speed, and being around people, especially family & friends. His smile truly lights up every room—and as you can see, every moment.

Right HAND ANGEL
Marshall is a 6-year-old boy who loves animals(specifically farm animals), planets, letters, and all things Christmas.
His main mode of communication is his AAC device, and he uses it to tell you what he wants, needs, or just what he’s thinking about.
Marshall has such a special soul, he has an exceptional ability to meet you where you are without judgment, which in turn always makes your day brighter.
When asked to describe Marshall, his grandma said, “Marshall’s contagious smile reflects his big heart, as he loves deeply.”
Autism doesn’t define who he is, it is just a part of what makes him unique, one of the parts of him we celebrate.

Bella is a vibrant young lady with a passion for makeup and self-expression. She loves experimenting with different looks, from bold and dramatic to soft and natural, always finding new ways to showcase her creativity. For Bella, makeup isn’t just about beauty—it’s a form of art that lets her share her personality with the world.

My name is Riley, and I’m a total Swiftie! I even got to see her at the Eras Tour in L.A. I was born and live in San Diego. I love surfing, skiing, swimming, and listening to all kinds of music. My favorite things to do are being outdoors, hanging out with my friends, shopping at the mall, going to the movies, playing with my pets (2 dogs & 1 cat), and spending time with my family.

“Thomas is a shy and sweet autistic boy who loves to play Roblox and collect clocks and cereal boxes.
He’s considered non-verbal, but he recently started to say some sentences, and he also has other ways to communicate. He makes many different sounds, points, taps you, and has his own special ways to make himself heard.
His adorable smile makes everyone’s heart melt, and his unique character makes you want to squeeze his little cheeks.
Another thing he really enjoys is when someone draws for him characters or things he sees in videos or pictures.
If you see him, please stop and say hi. He might not answer back, but he is definitely seeing you and appreciates it being seen.”

Right HAND ANGEL
Ángel is 17 years old in this photo; he has been diagnosed with Autism and Down Syndrome. We have faced many battles regarding his health, but—thanks to God—we have managed to overcome them all. He is affectionate in his own way, showing it when the moment calls for it. He spends a lot of time in his room and isn’t particularly sociable, though he loves his siblings and family. He isn’t into video games; instead, his favorite pastimes are putting together puzzles and coloring. He also has a great love for food and balloons 🎈. Furthermore, he absolutely loves going to races—it is his favorite sport—and he adores swimming.
